We never left our suitcases unlocked, figuring that it is better to be proactive than to find that something valuable is missing! Please note that we did leave a minimum of a 200 peso tip each day for our maid, with a thank you note and any requests that we may have had. I absolutely think this made a difference. FOOD:The food at the hotel was great! If you want to get picky, it was average compared to say, food on a cruise, which is in a league of it's own for "all inclusive". We had no complaints about the food and cheap spurs jerseys enjoyed sitting in Josie's section at La Laguna every morning. Try the green juice at breakfast, it is Kiwi and is great! Just remember, they are cooking for 1000+ people, so the food was good considering! We tried the Oriental A La Carte, it is a Japanese style restaurant that we both enjoyed, however we did find ourselves at La Laguna immediately after because my boyfriend wasn't full and I had room for more. We also ate at the Mediterranean A La Carte. I was feeling a bit ill that night, so I just nibbled on my food. I really enjoyed the Salad Bar there, though. It was nice to have that option.
